An insurance claim can feel overwhelming on top of the damage itself. We make the restoration side straightforward, with clear records your adjuster can use.
We work alongside your insurance company and adjuster as your restoration contractor, from the first call until the job is signed off.
How the Process Works
- Make sure everyone is safe, then call us. We start emergency work right away to stop the damage from spreading.
- Report the claim to your insurer. Have your policy number ready. Your insurer will assign an adjuster to your file.
- We document everything. Photos, moisture readings and a written scope of the work needed.
- Your adjuster reviews the scope. We answer their questions and provide any extra detail they ask for.
- We complete the work. You and your adjuster receive final photos, drying records and a certificate of completion.
What We Provide Your Adjuster
- Photos before, during and after the work
- Moisture readings and daily drying logs
- An itemized scope of work and estimate
- A certificate of completion when the job is done
Good to Know
- You can choose your contractor. Your insurer may recommend a company, but in most cases the choice of who works in your home is yours.
- Act quickly to prevent more damage. Most policies expect you to take reasonable steps to limit damage, and emergency work is usually part of the claim.
- Keep your receipts. Extra costs such as a hotel or meals may be covered under your policy. Check with your insurer.
- Don’t throw damaged items away yet. Wait until your adjuster has seen them or approved their disposal.
- Your deductible. You pay your policy deductible. We’ll explain how billing works before any work begins.
Our Role
We are a restoration contractor, not an insurance adjuster or broker. We document the damage and do the work, but we don’t negotiate settlements or interpret your policy. For questions about your coverage, talk to your insurance company or broker.
